I will dominate 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote next month's heavyweight fight.

Former two-time unified boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.

Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
